Aubrey's 1st Thanksgiving

My favorite holiday has to be Thanksgiving.  I love the fall weather, the good food and most importantly getting together with my wonderful family.  This year was extra wonderful because it was little miss Aubrey's first Thanksgiving.  It was such a great day!  We could not have felt more blessed to have her with us.  My aunt Teri and uncle Henry always welcome the whole clan into their beautiful home that is set on this great piece of land with a barn full of good lookin' horses.  There is never enough food, we are always sent home with empty bellies! Yea right-we are usually sent home in a food coma with leftovers just in case we hadn't done enough damage!

Aubrey with Great-Aunt Peggy.  She took the crowd surprisingly well.  No tears and warmed right up!

Aubrey stretched out her little arms and wanted to go right to AJ.  Even though he was a little nervous he scooped her right up!  It was too cute!

Getting to visit with Great-Aunt Teri in between cooking the delicious food!

3 generations!

Aubrey loved all the yummy food!  She had a blast sitting at the table like everyone else!

Aubrey was more interested in eating then getting a good family picture!

Maybe I'm a little partial but could she be any cuter??

I love my little family!
Aubrey getting to hang out with all the kids...she was so excited!
Loving all the attention from the sweet kids who were more her size!
4 generations...Grandma-Great , Grandma, Mommy and Aubrey
Some of the great-grandchildren together.  Aubrey was very interested in Carly's hair!

Aubrey with her Great Grandparents.

My grandparents recently had celebrated a whopping 60 years of wedded bliss, so they got one heck of a present...some of their great grandchildren put on songs and skits for them!  They were awesome!
Aubrey got all bundled up to check out the "big dogs".  Grandma's hoping she gets the horse bug and I'm sure grandpa and daddy are hoping not for their wallet's sake!

See was loving the horsies!
Wasn't falling for the feeding the horse a carrot trick-she'd pull her hand away too quickly!  Next year she'll be begging to ride them!

I hope Aubrey loves the smell of the barn as much as the rest of us.

And that is just the cutest little turkey butt!  Thanks Auntie Jess for the cute outfit!  Aubrey will definitely be taking style lessons from you!
